Motorcycle racing enthusiasm!
A true afficionado's book full of fine detail not only of the races over the years but also the riders, organisers and enthusiasts who kept (and keep) the race going. Norman's style is detailed and precise but yet allows for a sense of humour in his writing. Well worth "close season" reading

Voyager Tales: Personal Views of the Grand Tour

Author: David W. Swift
Average review score:

Human beings who created the Voyager Spacecraft<BR>
The best and most interesting book on one of the greatest scientific accomplishments of our century written in the words of the individuals involved.
These are real people including secretaries, guards, Telephone operators, and others as well as Engineers, Scientists, Project managers, and key individuals who participated in this remarkable extension of our knowledge of the Solar system.

Of particular delight to the reviewer was the reoccuring theme of pride of accomplishment by those associated with the Voyager project as well as the problems that were overcome, both technical and financial.
I found this an inspiring work and reccomend it to those who believe in humanity and scientific accomplishment.

The Wanderer (Le Grand Meaulnes)

Author: Alain Fournier
Average review score:

The Wanderer
I read this book, and really liked it. But then I had to do a stupid English project on it, and the more I analyzed it, the more I loved The Wanderer. It's all about a boy in the late 1800's somewhere in France and how he searches for happiness and the lost innocence of childhood as he travels throug adolesence. I would urge eveyone to read it, and if you can read it in the original French (Le Grande Meaulnes), do so. Enjoy!

This bible truly reaches out to the younger generation.
This bible has created a hunger and excitement in my youth group. It touches on subjects familiar to this generation. As a leader I learned so much from the "Hot Topic" sections dealing with problems and sensitive subjects of this generation. If you're buying for a group make sure each person receives one. The demand for this bible among my group has been unbelievable. The devotionals added to each book of the bible are great for starting conversations and introducing themes. Overall, this bible has been a "GOD-SEND". No teenager should grow up without it.
